What does cheerleading mean to me?

Cheerleading to me is a passion.  You do it because you enjoy pushing yourself to your highest potential, physically and mentally.  You do it because you want to, not because everyone else is, or because your parents put you in it.  Being a cheerleader grows your trust in others - its the one sport you have to trust in your teammates to catch you when you fall.  Its the one sport where you and your teammates come together as one, to become the ground you stand on.  The one sport that involves every teammate to move and perform as one whole.  Cheerleading teaches you respect as well as leadership.  It teaches you that you can still have fun while performing and giving 110% throughout the whole routine.  It gets you in shape and keeps you healthy while having fun with your teammates, who become your friends, and by the end of the season, become your "family".

Jonathan (Bo) Allen

Bo Allen started coaching for Cheer Rex in 2014.  He has years of experience competing as a gymnast and learned about cheerleading through his sister, who has competed with Cheer Rex All Stars for many years.  He is USASF safety certified.
